Asheville’s
John Bouda has been the State Referee Administrator
for North Carolina Soccer since 1990. He has been
instrumental in the development of referee training
in North Carolina, and the program now has an infrastructure
that supports the instruction, assignment and assessment
of approximately 4,000 certified referees a year.
He served on the
U.S. Soccer National Board of Directors from 2001-2005,
and was the lone referee representtive on a Board
consisting of 40 Directors
