A native of Pitt County in North Carolina, Morgan has lived most of his life in Jacksonville where he helped start the county’s first soccer program in 1975. Instrumental in the development of soccer in Onslow County and in Eastern North Carolina. Served as President of the Jacksonville Area Soccer Association from 1976-2001. Coached numerous boys and girls recreation and classic teams. Active member of the East Carolina Soccer Association and North Carolina Soccer Association.
